Quimex, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Felipe J. Estrada (known as Phil), a native of Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico, along with his wife, Vickey Estrada. Starting in an office along the Magnificent Mile in Downtown Chicago, the company would eventually move to Addison, Illinois and Lemont, Illinois before ultimately settling into our current location in Midlothian, Illinois in 1984.

Together, Phil and Vickey poured themselves into the business and nurtured it into the strong, reliable company it is today. In 2015, the second generation stepped into ownership and leadership roles, allowing Phil and Vickey a well-earned break. Their children, Brandon Estrada and Jennifer Estrada-Griffith, proudly serve the company as the President and Executive Vice President, respectively.

We currently have 14 employees. We have a bulk tank farm on site in order to keep our customers stocked with the products they need. Bulk products are sourced locally to help alleviate extended lead-times. We only work with well-vetted, trusted suppliers in order to maintain a high level of confidence in the products we distribute. We operate our own fleet of trucks capable of delivering bulk, totes, drums, kegs, pails and cases. Most orders are delivered in 1-2 days.
